Kieren Jamieson
Osteopath – BSc(ClinSc) MHSc(Osteo) MAOA
Kieren graduated at Victoria University with a Master’s of Osteopathy. He enjoys treating all aches and pains, in particular; acute and chronic low back pain, work related neck pain and treating running/sport related feet, ankle, knee, and hip pain.
Kieren uses manual therapy, such as deep tissue massage and joint manipulation in conjunction with exercise and education, to empower each patient and get you back to what you love doing, as quickly as possible.
As well as working in Richmond, Kieren works back in his hometown of Bright and has been for the last year. This has allowed him to treat a wide variety of patients, from the inner city accountant to a rural dairy farmer.
Kieren currently plays premier cricket and can attribute his love for lower limb injuries to the many injuries he has sustained trying to bowl fast. His own injuries have allowed him to be on the other side of treatments and has utilised these experiences to optimise his treatments for each patient.
Kieren has gone on to complete a certificate in Functional and Therapeutic Breathwork, where he learnt to utilise the breath to regulate the nervous system, decrease stress/anxiety and increase aerobic performance, as well as a list of other uses.
Outside of work, Kieren enjoys distance running, playing cricket and football, going to the gym, getting up early and finding the best coffee around, and hanging out with his French Bulldog, Daphne.
